Parents of both curricular and extra-curricular bands members are automatically members of the TJHSST Band Boosters family. The Boosters also welcome former band parents, alumni, TJ staff/faculty and all music supporters. The TJ Band Boosters is led by the Executive Committee consisting of the Board of Directors and the chairs of the various committees. The board of directors for the year 2010-2011 is listed below:

TJ Band Boosters maintains a Yahoo Group. Joining this group is the best way for parents to stay up to date on band related activities and announcements. When you join, you will receive our eNotes email newsletter and have access to useful files like forms for trips and fundraisers and meeting minutes.
All band parents or guardians are encouraged to join our Yahoo group by sending an email to: "tjbandboosters-subscribe@yahoogroups.com". All requests are checked against the student roster so please indicate your child's name and year when joining.
The Band Boosters are responsible for an annual budget of approximately $113,000. Click here to view the one-page summary of the 2010-2011 Band Boosters budget.
The Band Boosters have also prepared a one-page summary of the TJ band program. The main purpose of the summary is to provide a brief overview of the program, primarily for potential applicants for the Band Director position, but also for the TJ community in general.
All band parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend TJ Band Boosters monthly meetings. Meetings are focused on supporting the student band members by organizing and coordinating booster activities, fundraisers and events. The meetings are generally held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in the Principal's Conference Room (near the auditorium lobby). Check the calendar to confirm the next meeting time as there are occasional conflicts with holidays and band events that require moving meetings to a different date or location.
