FCPS requires a number of forms and permissions for students to participate in Band activities. The forms in the second packet that the students received MUST be carefully completed, signed appropriately, and submitted by the parent or guardian of each student at registration/check-in at TJ on Sunday morning, August 17. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. Parents should allow 45-60 minutes to accompany their student through this process.
Bus returns approx. 11:30am on Friday, August 22nd.
Parents who would like to join us at Shrine Mont in Orkney Springs for the Thursday night talent show are encourage to drive on out and enjoy a delightful evening with the TJMC! The cost is nominal for Thursday night dinner, an overnight room (which will include linens!) and a Friday morning breakfast. Your reservation can be booked directly with the Shrine Mont facility. You are invited to join for dinner at 5:00 on Thursday August 21, followed by a viewing of the final Orkney rehearsal. The talent show will start at approximately 8:45 p.m.
A note to alumni who might want to visit: You are most welcome to come and observe a rehearsal and/or enjoy the talent show. However, late-night travel back to Northern Virginia is difficult on unfamiliar roads. Please use great caution, or reserve a room to stay over.
